Do you ever ask yourself how you can be more intentional? You know, a lot of us have good intentions, but we often lack being intentional. And believe it or not, I'm a believer that there's usually a system or a process, right, of recipe that you can follow to get a better result. Whether that's if you want to be in better health, you want to have better relationships, you want to be better at learning, a new skill, right? It all comes down to a process and procedure to create those learnings and efficiencies. And I think it's the same as well when we are looking to how do we show up and be more intentional, effective, purpose-driven in our lives. And that's what my special guest, David Meltzer, talks about on this week's episode. And we're going to get started in just a moment. All right, so welcome to the Mortgage Marketing Radio Podcast. So glad you've tuned into this very special, exclusive episode. Sometimes pursuing what you want, pursuing your intentions, your passion, your purpose takes time, but ultimately it's worth it. And today's guest is a great example of that. I have secured for us today. Gentlemen, David Meltzer is the co-founder of Sports One Marketing and formally served as the CEO of Lee Steinberg Sports and Entertainment, which was the inspiration for the movie, Jerry McGuire. So you guys have may have heard of that movie. You may have heard of Lee Steinberg Sports. And David today, it's interesting, his life has transitioned and today is all about his mission, his purpose actually is to empower over one billion people to be happy. And if you want to know how that came about, how David made the shift from being a high-powered CEO, right, to what he's doing today, this episode will reveal that to you. And the challenge for the episode today was, David's very tight on time. He did a favor, made 20 minutes available on his calendar. And so I had like one or two things I could ask him about. So I asked him about being intentional and the process and steps procedures system for being more intentional and giving attention to your intention. And so he's going to walk us through the five steps about having more intention showing up with more purpose in your life. So you can make more progress and ultimately be more happy. That's what today's episode is all about. And if you want to be more intentional with your referrals from real estate agents, your relationships, creating an awareness for you and attracting real estate agents to you in your local market, well, hey, you can go check out mortgagemarketing.pro because let's face it, rates are up, refies are down and purchase businesses where it's at in the future. But the challenge is a lot of loan officers have now pivoted like you're probably doing as well to go pursue chase hunt call agents. And there's a lot of noise and there's a lot of resistance from agents. Therefore you need a better process to be able to rise above the noise, reverse the prospecting and attract agents to you instead of chasing agents. And the good news is is we at the mortgage marketing institute have that platform for you. It's called my agent classes where it's a turn key plug and play system to lead with education in your local market virtually over zoom or in person, sharing high value relevant classes that are simple and easy to teach. Just plug and play point and click and you too will be able to attract agents to your classes share content that makes a difference in their business drive conversations that lead to relationships and referrals. You can learn more about that by going to mortgage marketing.pro. So without further ado, let's get into this week's special guest, David Meltzer. David, welcome to the show. Thank you so much. It's great opportunity to share lessons and stories in a brief amount of time, hopefully to have as much impact as I can. And that's what I've discovered that you do is definitely have a impact in a brief period of time. I've been obviously diving into your podcast and consuming your content to prepare for this. We have less than 20 minutes, so there's gosh so much we could have talked about, but I'm going to focus in on this. And I wanted to talk about this concept of being intentional. And one of the things I've been talking about lately is everyone has, well not everyone, but ideally everyone has good intentions, right? But they're not necessarily intentional with their intentions. And you have something you talk about if I'm correct, like the five levels of intention, is that correct? Oh yeah, you're hitting on a great spot for me. So I love this. Where this is going. Certainly. So I'll walk us through that if you don't mind. Yeah, well, you know, I coach a lot of people and it's so interesting. You see the patterns of human behavior and human nature and one of those patterns is people will tell you, you know, Mr. Meltzer, I feel like I'm doing all the right things, but I'm not getting the results. And I said, that's because there's four more levels of intention because they try to utilize what I call the mathematical equation of luck. Let you focus in on pay attention to plus what you give intention to equals the coincidences in your life. And people, when the coincidences in your life align with what you want, people are like, oh my gosh, how's Dave Meltzer so lucky as that beautiful family, all this money blah, blah, blah. No, I'm just intentional and I focus in on what I want. So you have to do more than just do what you're focusing in on. And then the second level of client I have says, Mr. Meltzer, I'm doing and saying all the right things, but it's not coming to me either. And I said, that's because you're missing three levels. And then they say to me, Mr. Meltzer, and I got this, I'm doing saying and thinking all the right things. I've read Napoleon Hill and all that's still not enough. And they say, well, go read something like Wayne Dyer Power of Intention and now they come back and say, I got it. I'm doing saying thinking and believing all the right things, but yet I still feel stuck. I'm not getting the results. And that's because when you hit the fifth level of intention, you are living in what I call infinite time, infinite patience where things become rapid and accurate in their manner because when you have all five levels of engine, which is you do the right things, you say what you want, you think what you want, you believe it and feel it. When you're feeling it, you've cleared away all the interference and that which already exists comes to you rapidly and accurately. And so I teach these five levels of intention to make sure that they're aligned with what you want, what's important to you, not the people that's missing or what you don't want, knowing the ego-based consciousnesses that interfere with what you want that is already there in a value add world, not a zero sum world where you have to go get it, you don't have to go get anything. You have to be intentional. You have to focus in on and prioritize what you want, who you can help, who can help you, how best to get it done. And if you prioritize that with all five levels of intention, being disciplined, you know, people talk, you suffer from discipline or you suffer from regret. So let's be disciplined, coherent, let's say, do, think, believe, and most of all, when you feel it, you know you're in spirit, inspired and things are coming rapidly. There's one last thing that I add to it is through this process, people attach their emotions to the outcome, they attach their, I'll be happy when, this will be successful when, and what I suggest is that you utilize outcomes as a focal point of what you want, but then use the cause to put your attention and intention into. So the interval between a cause and an outcome, a cause and an effect is called time. And if you focus all your attention and intention on to the outcome, you will slow down time. If you put it on the cause, you will speed up time. So everyone needs to utilize attention and intention with all five levels by setting forth outcomes or goals or objectives or milestones, but making sure that what they do say, think, believe, and feel are in the realm of the cause by enjoying the consistent persistent pursuit of whatever they want of happiness of their potential, not like my friend Chris Gardner wrote in his book in the Will Smith movie, you know, is pursuit of happiness? No, no, happiness is the pursuit. Yeah. So, so is that, I mean, that's a sound cliche, but it's, it's, you know, success is a process, right? It's a journey, not a destination. Yeah. And it's, it's simple, you know, trite statements that people are afraid of because it seems so simple, but it is. The universe loves simple. It's exact. So if you can contextually, simply state a complex, you know, activity like success or happiness into a simple term of, you know, enjoy the journey, believe it, there's a lot unpacked there as I've aforementioned in the conscious subconscious and unconscious world that we can do. So if I'm following this correctly, do say, think, believe, feel, we're talking about being an alignment on all five of those things. Absolutely. And if you're short on one of those things, it's going to create resistance for wage shortages and obstacles and slow down the process. And so through that alignment, you will find a rapid and accurate process to manifest what you desire. Do they need to flow in that order to create momentum and progress? They don't. And I put them in the level of vibration or frequency. So everything vibrates in the world. The plants minerals vibrate the slowest and plants and animals and then humans and then sound, which is saying, right? And then light, then thought, then the truth. And so you can only be aware of that, which equals or is less than the vibration you carry. So although you can skip some steps, vibrationally, you will, you know, slow down the process. If you're just thinking the right things, but saying it, you're going to be counterproductive. If you think positively, but you're attacking and you have judgments and separations, or, you know, maybe you feel good about it, but you're not doing the work, right? This happens a lot. So those will interfere as well. But the highest frequencies are the most potent frequencies. And those are in order of vibration or frequency or awareness. So it seems like people have to check in with themselves. The other thing that stood out for me in relation to this, this concept is be intentional with your intention, right? Did I say with your attention? Yeah. Intentional with your attention. Because how do you know when you're off track? Right? I guess it feels something out of sync or, you know, in a place you've got to talk about giving attention to your intention. How do you do that on a daily basis? Yeah. So I've created five daily practices. And let me take a step back beyond, you know, the values of gratitude, forgiveness, accountability and this feeling of inspiration. Let me take a step before that that a lot of people don't talk about. Even the greatest inspires and motivators. And that's a pragmatic tool that I love to teach people. And it's called coherence. And coherence has two components to it that are enabling you or making you capable of utilizing the intention that you want to give. The first is remember what you want and to do it. So I sound silly, but you know, I have a gratitude challenge. And it's not just to teach gratitude, which is the common denominator of happiness, no matter how sick or well, taller, short, richer, poor gratitude is the common denominator of happiness. But I have the challenge to teach coherence because it's remarkable that everyone will agree gratitude is so powerful and it will change your life. But most people that agree with me by tonight won't say thank you. By tomorrow morning, won't say thank you. And with three days, almost all of us won't say thank you. Why? Because nobody's stressing the importance of coherence. I got to teach you how to remember to do something and do it before I can tell you the most powerful things to remember and the most powerful things to do, think, say, believe and feel. So I teach coherence first through what I think is the most powerful lesson in life, gratitude, the perspective that you need to be happy. So I teach coherence, then coherence to the values of gratitude for giving us accountability and inspiration. Now the daily practices make sense because remember the first word of daily practices daily. If you're not doing them daily, if you don't know what you want personally, experimentally giving and receiving wise, in conjunction with your mid and long term goals, not being afraid of changing your mind, because look, everyone out there, when you change your mind, when you're considered to be a hypocrite, you actually are learning, this is a good thing. And we should not put judgment, conditions and separations on to people who learn. I look for only fast learners to work with because those are the people that expand, grow and accelerate the most. But if you know what you want, then you can determine who you could be of service to and who can be service to you. In other words, I'm creating a world, an abundant world of sponsors and power sponsors. So you remember a sponsor, someone that knows someone that can help you or know someone that you can help or more importantly, a power sponsor, someone that can actually help you or you can help. And you know others that can help or not help. And so if you know you're what and you're who, then you can execute on all these pragmatic tools that I teach, you know, in all my books, you know, the five, 20 rule, the three, no rule, the 25, no student in the calendar. But they, in essence, allow you to have a lens of productivity of value, because you need, in order to determine your potential, you have to provide value. Then you can have accessibility, which means not only being accessible to more, but being accessible to what you want. So once you know and to provide value, now you have to serve it well and to many in order to make it profitable. So I teach people about creating value, but also how to serve that value well to the many, which creates profitability, which allows us then to prioritize. Prioritization is the antidote to procrastination. It's an antidote to feeling overwhelmed. Eisenhower is a great matrix, right? Importance versus urgency, urgency is a subset of importance. Basically, here's the problem, just like coherence, people don't remember or do, well, they don't know how to prioritize. So they stick their stock because they don't know what's important to them. They don't know what to do, who they can help or how to get it. If you know your priorities, you'll do it out. A hundred percent of things do now get done totally, statistically successful, of course. But more importantly, when things arise that you don't have planned, you know exactly where to fit them in your life. They don't slow you down or interfere with your current plans because you have a format or a structure that allows you to prioritize. The biggest difference that occurs by prioritization is that instead of searching for your why, instead of searching to be happy, healthy, wealthy, you actually start having faith of what you're connected to and through. And I'm mission all powerful, knowing source that loves you more than your mom does. What does that mean? I am happy. I am healthy. I am wealthy. I am worthy. Let me use the five levels of intention to figure out what I'm doing to interfere with it. Wow. That's cool. Hey, for people who want to learn more about you, your book, where should they go? We'll put that in the show for sure. And so let's close out on this because it's an interesting how we just segwayed into this. You also have a life mission to empower over a billion people to be happy. And that makes me really curious how you shifted from being the co-founder of sports one marketing and former CEO of Least Dimeberg Sports Center to how did you shift from that to this? That's amazing that you asked that because probably the most terrifying shift in my life and you know I went from selling legal research online to middleware to CEO of Samsung to Least Dimeberg to sports one marketing of the Warren Moon. Well, I'm walking the beach after my daughter told me a 13 year old daughter that her friend committed suicide and I am beyond lost. I am walking the beach and I realized as I still get choked up that I'm in the house and that I'm serving anyone by utilizing it just to make money. I needed to utilize it to make money, help people have fun as my mission statement in life. And I could teach my daily practices and my values to people like you who could teach it to a thousand people to teach it to a thousand people and I could change the collective consciousness or the world by empowering others to empower others to be happy. And I came home and told my wife from this walk in the beach with tears in my eyes. She says what is it? I said what I'm going to tell you is going to tear you but I'm changing my life's mission. And she said what is it going to be now? And you gotta remember I lost over a hundred million dollars 15 years earlier. We had made back everything we're sitting in our beautiful beach home. You know everything in our life is better than I can dream of four beautiful children and now I look at it after we finally come back with everything the right way and tell her I want to empower over a billion people to be happy to create a collective consciousness to change the world. And this is what makes my wife so wonderful. She didn't even blink. She said okay how can I be of help? I love you it sounds like a great great thing. And I was like I got chills thinking about it and that's what I've been doing here now by building my own brand and providing free content every Friday all over the internet. And I'm teaching things that I know will provide this abundance, this happiness for everyone to share. Yeah I love that. Thank you for sharing that. And by the way that went based on her response that's I'm sure you knew this already but that was just reaffirmation that you made the right choice. You got a good woman there right?
